To ensure that your sterling silver and vermeil jewelry last for many years to come, we recommend following our Jewelry Care Guidelines.

Polishing service

Silver jewelry will naturally tarnish (oxidize) over time as a result of its/their exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, sunlight, chemicals, and other elements such as high acidity levels in your skin. Tarnishing is a dulling which naturally occurs when silver reacts with sulfur or hydrogen sulfide in the air or your skin. We recommend removing any tarnish as soon as it first appears, as the long it remains, the harder it may become to remove. Frequently cleaning your jewelry with Albby's silver cloth should inhibit this reaction.

Re-plating service

All Albby yellow gold jewelry are made of vermeil, meaning that they have sterling silver as their base material and are plated with 14 or 18 karat real gold that is at least 2.5 microns thick for increased durability.

To ensure that your vermeil jewelry lasts for many years, we recommend following our Jewelry Care Guidelines.
